Behind the Brush
Meet Draya, the creative force behind LoveUrWeirdo. Known for her Afro-ethereal paintings, digital illustrations, and tattoo artistry. Her work merges fantasy, femininity, and goddess imagery with deep emotional storytelling. Each piece acts as a moment of reflection—calling viewers to evaluate, elevate, and reconnect with their power. Draya builds entire universes of celestial women and cosmic beings designed to inspire awe and ignite empowerment. Her art is more than visual; it’s an experience, a reminder, and an invitation to see yourself in a new light.

LoveUrWeirdo is an artist-led creative practice operating at the intersection of tattooing, fine art, and mythology-driven storytelling. Rooted in emotional truth and identity exploration, the work centers women of color and those whose interior lives have historically been flattened, aestheticized, or misunderstood.
Through original artwork, embodied marking, and intentional objects, LoveUrWeirdo explores the tension between survival and becoming—creating work that acknowledges difficulty without aestheticizing it, and beauty without simplifying the cost that precedes it.
LoveUrWeirdo is more than an art brand—it’s a universe built to honor individuality, celebrate Black feminine power, and inspire viewers to reconnect with the parts of themselves they forgot were divine. Every piece is designed to spark awe, healing, and self-discovery. This is a space for the magical, the imaginative, the otherworldly, and the beautifully unique.
Based in Waldorf, Maryland, LoveUrWeirdo serves the DMV region locally while cultivating a national and international audience through restrained, process-focused digital storytelling.
